NEW FORMAT FOR MONTHLY MEETINGS BY LEX ROCK BV DEMS

LEXROCKBV DEMS hold August monthly meeting at the First Baptist Church in Lexington, Virginia.  For the first time in years the local Democratic committee held one of its monthly meetings at a place other than its headquarters at 11 South Jefferson Street in Lexington. 

The two main reasons for doing this is that the monthly meetings have grown so large that they are too big for our headquarters. In addition, the LEXROCKBV Dems are reaching out to every community in our area to hold meetings where they meet.  Nearly 80 people attended setting a record for the number of people ever to attend a local Democratic committee meeting.

For our September meeting on the second Monday of the month, we will again be meeting at the First Baptist Church at 103 North Main Street at 6:00pm. We also plan to have our October meeting on the 14th of October at the First Baptist Church.
