Blue Ridge Democrat!

Who is this Blue Ridge Democrat?  I had never heard the phrase until I read about this Democrat in the August 14th Lexington News-Gazette who was once worried about putting up signs and now has three Democratic signs in their yard! I even started subscribing to the News Gazette and want this great newspaper to continue to serve our community for another 137 years as it has done in the past. 

Looks like Dems are finding their voice, hitting their stride and flexing their muscles here in BV, Lexington and even Rockbridge County.  Is it because the Republican candidates like Trump, a felon, Cao who does not show up for debates, and Cline who votes against the interests of all of us in the 6th Congressional District are so bad, or because our candidates, Vice-President Harris, Senator Tim Kaine and Ken Mitchell have serves our country so honorably their entire lives.  I think it is both. 

Great candidates make for great elections and this one looks to be “Bluer” in our region than for decades.
